Gopro HD Helmet camera shoots some of the best video I have seen. It shoots better then my digital camcorder which is also HD, but it is a little older.  The only problem I had with my footage is that Gopro doesn’t ship any software for video editing.  If your shooting everything and are in need of software check out ArcSoft photo & video editing software.  I just picked it up and it’s cheap.  Cheap in price only because it does an amazing job for my video editing and has all the tools you should need to produce a great video.  I’m sure there are better packages out there like some of the Adobe stuff or Pinnacle software, but they cost hundred to thousands.  Unless your looking for professional video editing software, go with ArcSoft for your Gopro video editing.  Simple, easy and cheap.

The Flip Camera vs the Gopro Camera debate.  For some reason I hear about this all the time and I’m not sure why.  They are two completely different camera and for different purposes.  What they do have in common is they are both small.  The fact that The Flip is tiny and shoots excellent HD quality video, doesn’t make it feasible to be used for action sports.  The Flip just doesn’t mount anywhere.  The Gopro mounts to everything so footage is true action footage at its best.  My suggestion is to buy both if you can afford it.  If your not a sports nut then you don’t need the Gopro camera, you want The Flip camera.  The Flip Camera is ultra portable, super stylish and is great for capturing video anywhere and easily uploading to the web for sharing.  My son skateboards a lot and uses the Flip camera a lot to film his friends skating, but with his helmet hero he gets to make a cool video of his own skills(that’s what he says anyways).  Gopro HD Hero camera is coming out with a true 3D expansion pack which should be cool.  Also keep in mind that the Gopro is completely shock proof and water resistant and The Flip Camera is not.  Flip also has a screen so that’s handy compared to the Gopro.  Extreme sports guys could really use both the Gopro HD Hero Camera and The Flip Camera.  If you looking to purchase a Flip Camera, there’s a Flip Coupon Code for Free accessory and Flip coupon for $10 off.  No comparison, the GoPro HD Hero is awesome and you will know once you see once if you want/need one.

Just reading popular mechanics and they use a Gopro HD Hero camera attached to the handle bars for their bike riding adventure.  They had some complaints about the sound quality, but loved the video quality.  They also loved the size and how easy it was to mount.  I just wanted to make a comment on this, since I love the Gopro Cameras.  First off I think most are not concerned about the sound.  The size and mounting capabilites are so amazing on the Gopro Cameras.  All the videos I’ve seen usually are edited with music anyways.  Nothing like an amped up surf or skate video in HD wide Angle!!!!!!  Just my two cents.  Gopro HD Hero Cameras are still a must have for lots of sports enthusiests.

The Flip Mino HD camcorder is perfect camera and video camera for travel.  Its so small, and easily packs in your luggage and/or pocket.  Its full HD quality is amazing, fires up in a few seconds to start recording and it does not get easier to use.  Instantly share you photos on YouTube and Facebook and Flip Channel.  This is the best part because the USB connector slides out of the camera, so I just have to find a computer with a USB, plug in and upload and share.  Its great and I have yet to find a spot that does not have a USB plug throughout Europe.  This is my second flip, and the HD is nice, but there’s a few things I liked better about my original Flip Ultra.  First off the Flip Ultra used 2 AA batteries and secondly there was an underwater case available.  Still use it when doing the beach and the Caribbean.  Check out the Flip Mino HD and other Flip Ultra cameras.  Flip camera coupon for free shipping available.

The Gopro Wrist Hero is a fantastic little camera.  It’s only $99 bucks and fits nicely on your wrist for easy and comfortable filming.  It’s great for diving and on the go filming.  Although its only Standard definition it films great videos and has a 5 megapixel still camera built in.  The wrist Hero is waterproof up to 100 feet and shoots almost an hour of video with sound.  If your looking for HD check out Gopro HD camera’s that suit just about every activity like the Helmet Hero, Surf Hero or Motorsports Hero.  Check them all out at Gopro.
