This is my opinion but I think the Gopro HD Hero 960 is not worth it when compared to Gopro HD Hero.  Although it does cost a $130 less then the full HD Gopro Camera, you have no ability to use what Gopro calls a premium accessory, like the Gopro LCD Bacpac.  The advantage of an LCD screen addition really tips the scale.  I have a few friends that shoot at narrower field of view then the 170 degree and the LCD lets them accurately frame their shots.  I have not tested it yet but I’ve been told that shooting with a narrower Field of view produces a sharper video.  If you want to really focus in on the action and use a narrower field of view, the LCD bacpac is a must to get the shot you want.  You can find more information, available Gopro coupons/Gopro promo codes at Gopro.

I just wanted say that the new Gopro LCD Bacpac is strong.  I just put my Gopro HD Hero camera with LCD Screen attached through hell.  I really thought the LCD screen was broken.  I have to tell you it held up great after countless bounces, including one where my helmet came off in the pipe.  Love the LCD screen and love the Gopro even more with the screen.  Check to see gopro coupon availability for the screen if you don’t have one yet or a Gopro camera if you don’t have one yet.

My Gopro research tells me that the Gopro 3D kit will be available for shipping around the end of March.  It  will be very exciting to see how well it works for filming true 3D.  It’s going to be all in the sync between the two cameras.  Only the owners of the Gopro HD Hero will be able to use the Gopro 3D kit and it will require a second camera.  Gopro HD 960 and Gopro SD 170 owners will have to upgrade.  On top of the 3D the new Gopro 3D kit will let you shoot multiple angles by utilizing both cameras individually or combine for 3D action.  I have not determined if the Gopro LCD Bacpac will work with the Gopro 3D case yet, but I will keep you posted.  Check out all the Gopro’s at Gopro Cameras.  Don’t forget the Gopro promo – Free daily Draw and win yourself a Free gopro.

The recently Launched Gopro LCD bacpac makes it so much easier to aim your Gopro HD Helmet Hero.  It really eliminates hours of terrible footage due to wrong camera angle.  You will need a second person to get it aimed but once it is aimed you will get great footage.  This is what I did on our last boarding trip.  I got on my board to stood the same way as if I was riding.  I then had a friend use the Gopro LCD to adjust the camera to a good angle.  Try to be natural and keep in mind your head is obviously going to move and you will look around a bit but overall you find that you ride with your head looking ahead mostly in a certain position.  Got way better footage at the end of the day.  I might of even convinced a couple buddies to go out and get a Gopro Camera and LCD now.  A few buddies have always complained about consistently bad video angles.  Another cool way to get footage is have a guy in front on the slopes with a backwards camera shooting the riders behind him.  Check to see if any Gopro Coupons or Gopro Promos are availabe at Gopro.  They do have a free daily giveaway. All Gopro HD Hero camera users should be running out and ordering the new Gopro LCD BacPac.  I’m sure it will take a few extra days to get yours shipped, as I’m sure the demand is high.  The Gopro LCD screen is going for $79.99 and it changes the way you use your Gopro.  It makes it way easier to frame your shots, since you can now see what your shooting, and eliminates the need for a computer to view your videos.  The LCD screen has full controls for rewind, fast forward and play, and it also includes integrated speakers with volume control.  The Gopro LCD screen also comes with a waterproof door.  It essential takes your Gopro and eliminates the need for your other video camcorder.  I’m sure I will use my Gopro with a screen instead of my video camcorder, that is at least three times the size of my Gopro Hero.

Gopro HD cameras were all over the X Games this weekend.  The camera is just amazing.  They were showing Gopro Footage from the crazy guys on snowmobiles that I thought was cool.  Gopro also launched their Gopro LCD BacPac for current users of Gopro HD Hero Cameras at a cost of $79.  I think the LCD makes the Gopro camera much more versatile and you should order the Gopro LCD with your camera.  Keep in mind that it only works with the full Gopro HD Hero camera and not the SD camera or the Gopro HD 960.

Still waiting for Gopro 3D kit to launch.  I ordered my Second Gopro HD Hero Naked for $259, so now I’m waiting for the 3D kit to launch.  It is suppose to be in February which is only a couple of days, so I hope its not delayed.  I don’t even see it on their site under products anymore.  Either way I am ready to roll with my second Gopro HD Camera on its way.

The Gopro is an unbelievable camera.  It has a tiny footprint and the video quality on my Gopro HD Helmet Hero is unbelievable.  It’s made to mount anywhere and everywhere, so you can be creative as you want and film everywhere.  As far as a wearable camera or helmet camera, I have yet to find one on the market that is better.  The only slight complaint I have is battery life.  I get about 2.5 hours of filming when on the slopes, but I’m usually out there for 8 hours at a time.  I love to film everything.  Gopro is launching at Gopro Bac Pak that will plug into the expansion port, but I suggest that when you order your Gopro get an extra battery for $20.

I just found out that the Gopro HD Camera shooting in 960p mode shoots Ultra Wide and Tall.  It shoots at 1280×960 with 170 degree angle of view, giving you more action both below and above, then widescreen 16:9 mode.  The Gopro HD Cameras are awesome and it’s great when you know how to use all their functionality.  On a side note the Gopro Wrist Attachment is sold out for the HD Gopro cameras.  Never thought an accessory would be out of stock, so i guess no diving with my Gopro this Christmas vacation.

All surfers need a Gopro Surf Hero.  This thing is awesome and is a must have for any surfer at any level.  I always thought the mounting would fall off and be difficult but the Gopro Surf Hero makes it easy and convenient and it won’t fall off, no matte how big the waves.  Okay maybe some waves are too big, but if your out there with waves that big your gopro will be the least of your worries.  Gopro Surf Hero has a unique Gopro FCS attachement that will capture some awesome footage for you.  You will not even notice the Gopro Surf Hero on your board.
