Contour Cameras are good cameras that also shoot excellent quality and are comparable in price.  My honest opinion is that both are pretty equal.  I think Gopro is more popular because of branding.  I do find the Gopro has more mounting options, but the Contour does have a GPS model that is pretty cool, especially for jumpers that want a wearable camera, because it will track altitude and speed. How does the Gopro compare to Drift Innovation?  The Drift Innovation has just been redone.  I have never used one but if your not familiar with the Drift it does offer a ton of features.  Sample videos I’ve seen are excellent.  It has a built in LCD, rotatable lens. 9mp sensor, comes with remote, mirco HDMI, digital zoom and microphone jack.  This unit goes for a little more at $369 but it does have a ton of features.  I found the mounting options are the best for on the body, but if your doing something like biking you may want to take a look at this unit.  The best deal I can find is $249 at Drift Innovations Coupons.  This is a two day sale so you will have to decide quickly.
